Chicken Karahi
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- ½ kg chicken
- ½ kg tomatoes (thickly sliced)
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 5 green chilies julienned
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tsp crushed cumin
- 1 tbsp crushed red chili
- 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
- 1 tbsp julienned ginger
Method:
- Heat oil in wok and fry chicken in it with salt till chicken is golden brown.
- Add garlic ginger paste and continue frying for 1-2 mins.
- Add tick pieces of tomatoes in chicken and cover the wok to cook for 10 mins.
- Add crushed red chili, cumin and black pepper and stir-fry chicken for 3-4 mins.
- Sprinkle julienned ginger and thin long slices of green chilies and cover the wok for 5 mins on low flame to get it steamed.
- Serve with naan bread or chapati.
